Oftentimes a group leader will create a group and get feedback from the group members that require some of the group parameters to be changed. The good news is that Esusu has made this process easy. The parameters that can be changed prior to a group's official start date include the following:

  • Group Name

  • Group Description

  • Payment Amount

  • Payment Schedule

  • Payout Order

  • Group Start Date

We will deep dive into some of these in other support articles but this article will walk through how to access your settings.

The steps to adjust your group settings are as follows: 

(1) Click on the 'Groups' tab on the bottom menu.

(2) Click on the 'Pending' group which you want to adjust the settings for, as indicated by the yellow identifier. As a note, group settings can only be adjusted while the group is still in pending status. Once the group is active these settings cannot be changed. 

(3) Click on the 'gear' icon on the upper right-hand corner. See screenshot below: 


(4) Click on the settings and specific fields you want to edit. See screenshot below:

  • Group Name and Group Description

  • Payment Amount

  • Payment Schedule

  • Payout Order

     Note: Make sure to long press user card and drag to reorder 

  • Group Start Date

(5) Once you have made your changes to either the general settings or schedule settings, make sure you click the 'Save' button as seen on the screenshot above. 

From there you should be all set with your new changes. Until the group starts, you can make changes as frequently or infrequently as you would like.
