Since Esusu only reports to the three national bureaus mentioned above, we can only support the data that resides at these three bureaus. There are many third-party sites that are not directly related to Equifax, Experian, and Transunion. These sites can be free and an attractive way for consumers to access their credit report. The problem is that these third-party sites download and display data differently than their source which is the three national bureaus.

A rental obligation may appear as a loan, or it may appear as closed. Rest assured that at the bureaus this loan is NOT a loan but a rental obligation. The reason why it shows closed is because the bureaus treat your rental obligation as a monthly obligation. Each time you pay, that obligation is satisfied. The bureaus do not truly show the account is closed but because it’s a zero current balance there may be some display issues that other third-party sites show that confuse you.

Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected], or go directly to the three national CRA’s to see the true status of your Esusu account. Please follow these links to each bureau for your convenience: Equifax, Experian, and Transunion.
